Cry, Cry the Mother
Oak has Fallen
A requiem poem for
Valerie Lynn Kober on the event of her birth mothers passing
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
An ill
and sudden wind has arisen and hastened her end!!
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
In the
passing from this realm to the one above, she has left the ones she loves!
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
In our prayers
now and always will she be remembered! As an Angle, both on earth and in Heaven!
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
So shed
tears like leaves in a winter’s gale knowing that both time and spring will
provide sun and rebirth.
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
For
remember Little Oaks grief, like life, is transitory. So cry, cry and remember
me in both happy and sad times.
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
So grieve
now and not always for me I am with the Angles in heaven. Remember while my
love for you is infinite, the pain of my passing is not.
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
My cry
for you my Little Oaks and acorns is that you embrace life, live it with
passion and fight for your Dreams.
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
So now
my final wish for those I love!! Grow strong like the Oak in the grief of my
passing and subtle like the Willow. Embrace life with passion for you are all
my finest creations!!
Cry, Cry the Mother Oak has Fallen
